I have always liked Scarlett Johansson. She has got the perfect blend of sexy and sweet. She’s made some smart movie choices, has been seen with some major arm candy {read Ryan Reynolds}, and she really does not have any cheap theatrical P.R. created scandal to her name. She is genuinely recognized for her talent and hard work. As for her fashion, I have always had mixed feelings about it. I don’t hate it, but it has never really been awe-inspiring either. All that changed when she showed up for her Hollywood Walk Of Fame honour in a black and white Preen Fall 2012 outfit. This fashion forward ensemble that was a major style risk which royally paid-off, making her 'Chic of the Week'.

Staying on trend, she mixed daisy print top with a checkered pencil skirt, the silhouette of which was {oddly} flattering for her curvaceous frame. Donning a retro hairdo and cat eye sunnies, she polished the look off with red Christian Louboutin platform peep toes. The red added the perfect dash of colour pop and upped the outfit’s glam quotient. The over all look was event appropriate without being overtly formal or boring.

Personally, I love this look. A stylish balance of classy with hints of retro and sexy. All in all, it was the perfect look for receiving such a prestigious honour. Well done, ScarJo!
